Concorso Italiano Tees It Up for 2009
Concorso Italiano is a 24 year tradition during the Monterey classic car weekend, which includes the Pebble Beach Concourse, Monterey Historic Races at Laguna Seca, and several high-profile auto auctions. Held on golf links in the past, the Concorso moved to the Marin City airport last year where the acres of tarmac inspired little love among attendees and participants. For 2009 the Concorso is heading back to the fairways. This year’s event will be held at the Laguna Seca Golf Ranch. The Concorso will take place on Friday August 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are available through May 31 for $85 per person. After that, the price increases to $100. Your ticket includes on-site parking. The entry is $125 through May 31 and increases to $175 starting June 1. Entry fees for non-Italian cars are slightly higher.For more information, visit concorso. On Wednesday, May 30th Christie's will be holding their Important Watches auction in Hong Kong.
