- I was looking forward to receiving this watch. The concept is great, and it looks great, too. But, the watch itself is quite large and thick making it too heavy. When I tried it on, it clunked around and the stem kept digging into the top of my hand.

Chopard 16/8331-99 wrist watches news:
When you hear the name Bell & Ross, if you're like me, you have a particular mental picture that comes to mind - a square case that calls to mind the very aviation instruments they're intended to reference. For 2014, Bell & Ross is introducing a new model to their Aviation collection that relies not just on the shape, but also the color scheme, to establish the airplane roots. The new model goes by the name of BR 03-94 Carbon Orange, and for my eyes, the orange is the star of the show, especially when paired with the orange canvas strap (sure, you could opt for their standard black rubber strap, but why?) that manages to be just as bold and blocky as the case it's paired to.The orange then carries over onto the dial. Why? While aviation instrumentation (amongst other industries) relies on the crisp black and white contrast to keep legibility high, a color like orange is thrown in the mix to highlight crucial information. In the case of the BR 03-94, this critical data is in the

In 1996 I almost purchased a Zenith El Primero, a decision I regret. The watch that I purchased instead became the only watch I ever flipped, even if it took 11 years to flip it.So today, we celebrate Zenith. Please post your own Zenith pics, thoughts and stories.History of Zenith1865 Georges Favre-Jacot set up a workshop in Le Locle, one of the very first to bring all the different artisan-watchmakers together under one roof.1923 Creation of El Primero, a self-winding chronograph beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour and now a worldwide reference.1972-1978 Zenith became part of the American Zenith Radio Corporation.1984 Zenith decided to relaunch production of mechanical watches.1987 Zenith was back in the spotlight, with the El Primero movement at the heart of its renown.1994 Zenith launched the Elite movement.Over the course of the 20th century, the Manufacture was awarded over 1,550 distinctions, produced some 50 calibres and opened branches around the world.2000 Zenith became pa
I got into a discussion with my AD re my situation, I'm trying to get my name on a list (or two) for a new model, the ss GMT to be specific... (Aren't we all...)There's no devious intention in my actions, its just hedging my bets, or doubling my chances... Had I of wanted a rarified 1980s cabbage patch doll, back in the day, I'd have done the same thing...Bearing in mind what you may remember happened to me (in part 1 - of a similarly titled thread), with my Daytona procurement being scuppered... I'd come to the top of the list for the white Daytona 116500ln, but l was ultimately disapproved for purchase by head office - because I'd been successful elsewhere (rolex records) with the other coloured dial variant.I thought I'd try to get my head around these policies so that I didn't get black balled again. Basically if I know the rules I can play by them! Otherwise its all a little naive and potentially you can fall prey to a system you have no way of understanding... After al
