- My son received this watch as a Christmas present. It is truly a fine timepiece, very elegant--looking, and he has enjoyed wearing it. It must be set when he wears it, as it is a kinetic watch, and he doesn't wear it all the time.

Chopard 168992-3003 wrist watches news:
A mechanical watch depends on it's mainspring to power the movement. Few watch makers even manufactures their own mainspring. Seiko is one.Seiko¡¯s mainspring that powers the Grand Seiko, Spring Drives, Premier, Prospex, Spirit and possibly other JDM models is SPRON510. For general comparison, ETA¡¯s Nivaflex have a power reserve of 40 hrs while the standard Seiko Spron510¡¯s power reserve is 50 hrs.SPRON510 used since 2005 is a unique alloy hairspring that is more elastic and is non-magnetic and heat resistant. Was in NYC today near 5th. Did a fly by, then the sales guy busted these out, they'll be on tour at a boutique near you shortly. Never mind my small wrist, took the pics for you guys.
Hi allMy speedmaster needs a service and polish. Unfortunately I have not heard very good reports of the official Omega service centre so I am looking for recommendation for an independent.Suggestion would be very welcomeThanksJeff
Traditionally I've always been a Luminor type of guy.Maybe its just the small child deep down somewhere inside of me but whatever it is I just love the interaction with the pull down lever and the oversized cog wheel winder every couple of days - oh, and it looks freakin' awesome too - bonus!Never really bothered with Radiomir's much, pretty much because of the reason above, just thought of them as sort of 'ok, but not for me thanks' kind of thing. That opinion changed quite dramatically recently when I stumbled across an internet pic of the Radiomir Firenze Acciaio PAM00672 - WOW! What an absolute beauty!!!Unfortunately, I have to accept that this piece will never sit in my humble watch box as its limited to 99 pieces and only available through the Florence boutique, the spiritual home of Panerai. The case work is hand engraved, so each one of the 99 pieces will be totally unique. The P3000 hand wound movement has been completely reworked and embellished with ornate designs to compliment
it's been almost 5 years since I've sold my last Panerai. I'm thinking about making the move back to get a near daily Panerai...I have to say I miss the straps, miss the community and miss the design...Panerai makes me nostalgic as it was the community of Panerai that made me fall in love with watches Anywho, any guys on here still wearing their 390 from 2011?? This is the one I think I will get..I love the versatility I can have with straps and the tobacco dial with that gorgeous lume...Pics are welcome
