Chopard 161276-5003 wrist watches news:
_____________The 2009 NYC GTG Report___ DAY 2 _______(pre-GTG activities)___________FRIDAY - May 15th 2009Day 2 started relatively early. Janos and I had a meeting with folks at Henri Stern Watch Agency (Patek USA) at 10:30 AMIn one word - this visit was 'AMAZING" and I will dedicate a separate thread with many pictures dedicated to this event. In short - we were given a grand tour of 'every office' and repair room of HSWA by their regional sales manager - Mr. Kevin Unger. After a wonderful lunch to which we were treated by HSWA in a fine Manhattan steakhouse, I was also fortunate to meetthe PP USA president, then later hold in my hands some very rare watches......and was alsoable to play with and try on almost all new models introduced in Basel 2009. What a day for a Patek aficionado like me !!But as I said...more about this wonderful visit later in a special report coming up a few days later. After the HSWA visit it was time to meet with our friends who were here for the main event - t
I found this Omega, and frankly I don't know if it is real.....why? well, it's the rhinestones, all around the outside edge but just inside the crystal.....looks like it is from the late 1960s, from the case appearance.....I have asked the guy to remove the back, and see what the movement says, but not everyone is capable of doing that, so I thought I'd throw it out to this forum ......so, did Omega ever make a Rhinestone model ????
Well guys I FINALLY got the watch/model that took me over 2 months to track down after it originally sold out quick. I will let the pics speak for themselves. The construction, attention to detail and overall F & F is top notch and I would put it up with the big boys. DEFINITELY grail worthy. IMHO, EDOX = WOW. What do you guys think
Hi boys ! Very happy to say that I have my first AP on the way, after a few Rolex I finally tried on the silver dial 15400 and I was hooked. Is there anything I need to know ? I'm very used to Rolex being built like tanks I'm just wondering if there's something I should know about. Like Omega's 'don't change the date between 10 and 2'. My mindset with Rolex has been to send for service only when needed, it always ended up being cheaper then just sending it in every 5 years even if something happen to break. I'm talking 10 years or so not 20-30. Should I be more careful with the AP ?What about swimming with the AP ?I'm sure this is mostly dumb questions just rather be safe then sorry.
This is a Vertigo Buffalo strap in nubuck finish. Very soft and comfortable. Tappers from 5mm to 2mm. 24mm to 22mm. I think the string color about nails the color of the Panerai numbers in the sun. Very happy with the leather color. Classy light brown/sand casual look.I have 3 new straps in bound. Kinda switching up between deployment and tang buckle.
