Zenith 16-1230-4021-01-C538 wrist watches news:
Back in November 2013 watches-dealer had close to 2000 people enter for a chance to win a Maurice Lacroix Pontos S watch during our monthly giveaway. The lucky winner was Mr. Christian B. from Connecticut, USA and he has been nice enough to share with you images of the watch he won along with an watches-dealer reader review:I would like to begin by thanking Maurice Lacroix for offering this watch for the monthly give away contest and watches-dealer for running the contest and selecting me as the winner. One might think that nobody ever wins online contests, but I am here to tell you I was happily proven wrong.Looking to expand my knowledge and entertain my fascination with timepieces, I purchased a copy of the 2013 Watch Annual. This is an A to Z of watches, and contains high-level information about watch manufactures. What really caught my eye was a certain watch on the cover of this publication, which just happened to be a Maurice Lacroix Pontos S. Being a certified scuba diver, I re
Hi Chaps,After much agonising I finally pulled the trigger and picked up a ROO today! My first one, going to do a full thread later. Absolutely love the watch, but had one quick question on the dial. The numbers on mine are silvery/grey but on the pictures of others I've seen they are black. I've attached a picture, any ideas? I think it's a 2014 version. Thanks!!
I am considering buying a used omega speedmaster - reduced to add to my collection. Can someone give me price range for one in good condition? i understand the reduced model goes for less money. thanks much peter
Just a recap several weeks back i was offered a real nice Patek 5960 but to step up to the plate the Daytona had to go but with sellers remorse setting in before i'd given sold it, deep breath and let it go, but you now how it is once your're in new watch mode its only time!, so attempting sensibility my thoughts ran KEEP! the WG Daytona i honestly don't think you'd get a more unique dial and i love the fraction formations on mine and the smaller onyx 3-6-9 indices more in line with the other subtle markings rather than on the newer premium dials with the larger SQUARE markers IMHO. so i'm now looking at something in SS [and cheap being a relative term] as a daily wearer yes rolex make many with a few nice ones to come, maybe i'll regret it but at this time rolex leaves me sort of ho-hum! bored nor excited!, so to the forefront rose AP and Patek i'd all but picked up a RO 15300 when a offshore was offered by a unsolicitated PM after making enquiring post on AP in general on the forums,
Had my new Explorer sized and link adjustment done by local watch / jewelry store and they botched the link screw (rough and a bit sharp) as well as the link is now stiff and not moving as it should. The closest AD is a day trip and with the holidays there¡¯s no time. The watch fits perfectly now but when I️ run my finger along the bracelet it¡¯s rough at that spot and that doesn¡¯t bode well with me. So, I️ want it fixed like new with smooth screw heads and a link that moves freely. Anyone have a recommendation as to who I️ could send it to to fix it that could do a quick turnaround? I️ don¡¯t think it¡¯s a big issue at all for someone that knows what they¡¯re doing. I️ also have read that each link screw is sized for the individual link and that you can¡¯t just use any link screw as it were. So TRF, what would you do and who would you send it to? Like I️ said the closest AD is a whole day pretty much over and back and I¡¯m not 100% convinced they cou
