Corum 277.931.91/0371 AG32 wrist watches news:
I found this from EL's bossman at another site. Very informative:There is indeed a visual way to tell a basic movement apart from one of a higher level. It is usually the decoration. 2824s that come in the ¨¦labor¨¦, Top and Chronom¨¨tre versions have routinely factory decorated rotors and bridges. There are many different levels of decorations from the ETA-factory in what we call 'd¨¦corations traditionnels'. These three executions come all with a nickled and rhodium plated rotor and a goldplated balance wheel as base. The Standard version lacking these features.High level watch companies usually use at least the ¨¦labor¨¦ version most of them reverting to the Top execution. The high-enders usually bring in their own decorations. Much like we do on our Claro-SEMAG movement.Marketing oriented brands focus on the entry level executions of the 2824. Most often for price reasons. However, even a Standard execution movement can be brought up to ¨¦labor¨¦ or Top level by changing the required compo
Hi guys.I am an 18 year old guy looking to buy a new watch at the retail price around $ 7,000. It's the first watch I am ever buying. I have checked out a lot of watches but since it is kind of a new obsession I am not totally into all the different models. My thoughts right now is pointing in the direction of a Breitling Bentley GT or Navitimer World. I would like to hear the general opinion of these watches, plus I am open to new suggestions. The watch should look nice on a normal day but also be suitable for a special occasion and wearable with a suit. I hope some watch experts in here will take the time to help me so I will end up with a watch i will not regret. Best regardsSoeren.
A recent post (I'm too lazy to see where it was posted) mentioned the shipping and packing practices of a well known TV home shopping channel. This TV shopping channel sells a certain brand in great volume and there are numerous claims of watches being recieved in a state of disrepair.Often the excuse is "damaged in shipping" and I used to see that as a "lame " excuse for poor QC.I have gotten a goodly number of shipments from this TV shopping network and ,I must admit, that their idea of adequetally packing a watch for shipment is a nightmare,No packing or protection of any kind is attempted.Just throw the watch ,in it's regular box , place that unprotected in a box that has no room for extra packing and the only protection is the pillow it is on.No bubble wrap or any other protective packaging is ther save for a few promo materials.I am sure that this shoddy packing is responsible for , at least, some of the complaints. My few other on line purchases (Amazon and SAH) have been well p

This is my first post but I've been somewhat regular visitor for past couple of months, first as a guest and then registered couple of weeks ago.Anyhow. I got very much waited packet today and now I can say I've joined PP owners club. I don't bother you with multiple pics due not having decent camera nor photography skill. There are also already lots of good Aquanaut pics in this site from others but I still will put this one pic out just because in real life I know nobody who can enjoy and appreciate this kind of watch to the level it deserves. Now to nerve wrecking part of adjusting strap to my sizefull.JPG
