Corum 163.250.20 wrist watches news:
Hi everyone,I'm looking for a supplier for mechanical watch movements in a specific size and shape :I need about 200 round movements 6 3/4 (15,3 mm).The backside appearance is very important because it will be visible.Does anyone have an idea where I could find a supplier for such product? Thanks and cheers.
Not unlike many on here I have a smaller wrist and trying to figure out if the ROO would be too large for my wrist. I wear suits at work so I think it best that I try one on before I buy. Thanks to David for the suggestion. As I live in southeastern VA there are no AD's around. Are there any forum members that live close that I could try one on or get comments from? Not trying to be presumptuous just looking for a little help. Thanks
I was invited to a Breitling and Bentley event were the St Louis Bentley dealership and the St Louis Breitling AD are going to show off the new models of both watches and cars. That made me curious as to the opinion of Breitling For Bentley brand.I've seen some unfavorable comments on the forum about the Breitling for Bentleys. However, I noticed the preowned prices for them are pretty attractive, especially for the stainless steel complications. So the question is, are the Breitling for Bentleys looked down on from a collector stand point?
Hi guys - recently I began to question my CK2998. It really hasn¡¯t been getting any wrist time. Is a shame as I loved it, but I realised the reason was that it just didn¡¯t go with everything that I wore, to the extent it was lucky if it got 1 day a week. I¡¯m also fairly traditional at heart, and if I¡¯m honest am more comfortable with darker colours for watches (just me I¡¯m afraid). That said, I wanted to keep a speedy in the stable and preferred the case shape and size to the pro. So decided to try a FOIS on and bingo. Just what I am looking for. The case I like along with the alpha hands and other touches. Love the brown strap also and the good news is my bracelet purchased for the CK fits. It¡¯s as if it¡¯s the bits of both the pro and CK that I liked merged in one.Flipping watches is never a particularly profitable business, but I got a good deal on the FOIS and am pleased to have it. Obligatory wrist pic below!Cheers, steveSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Last month I decided to place a 20% deposit for a sub 116613LB from Mayors down in Miami due to the shortage of sport models. I've been trying to get my hands on this model and it seems like it sells very quickly. While I was in Orlando last weekend visiting some friends, I decided to stop by another Mayors AD which luckily had it on display. I tried it on and told him I wanted to buy it knowing that I could cancel my deposit I placed in Miami. With this is mind, I tried to see if I could score a good discount considering I would pay cash and unfortunately it did not work. The salesperson was set on MSRP + tax and did not give me the option to ship out of state to avoid paying the tax on the spot. They said that it's considered a hot watch, in which no discount for any sport models. I ended up not purchasing the watch and now left waiting until my order arrives. Hopefully a better deal is given to me at the Mayors in Miami. I was wondering if this was usually the case with Mayors?
