SEAMASTER 300M CHRONO caliber?
I took my SEAMASTER 300M CHRONO(circa 2000) for an overhaul to Omega boutique in NYC. When I spoke to a girl on the phone she quoted me $375-up for my watch. When I brought the watch in she told me $530-up but I should leave it and I would be given the correct price estimate in a few days. What i don't understand is on Omega website pricing starts at CHF390(roughly the same in USD) for current calibers. Oiling non-jewel Bullseye
I have a 1960 Bull's Eye pocket watch. Its been sitting in a drawer for many years and probably could use a cleaning and oiling. The pocket watch has no jewels that I can see. The watch runs great. What would be a good oil to use on a watch that has no jewels? Would a synthetic with Teflon work? I read that slick 50 synthetic has Teflon and works well as a spring lube. I will spend some days in London and Paris. Which in your opinion is the best shop in each city carrying a good variety of vintage and modern but discontinued Patek Philippe watches (such as 5110, for example)? l have been to Burlington Arcade a few times and while there are many vintage Rolexes, I don��t remember seeing many Patek Philippe watches. Appreciate any recommendations.

Last week had the privilege of going on a two day trip to Patek.Wow.I know others have been...But, tour of the museum.And then the factory.Got to see in the flesh the 150 anniversary watch..And the star calibre...The whole collection in one hit...But no photos allowed from inside.If you ever get the chance go! It makes you realise why they cost so much, and actually you realise that they are worth the money....
