Horizon Look
Back in the late 50s, the era of cars with fins and other futuristic stuff, Elgin came out with what they called the 'Horizon Look'. These watches had crystals that completely covered the front of the watch - dial, bezel, and all.They thought it was the look of the future, but that didn't pan out. Still, the watches, with the correct wraparound crystal, are quite striking.The picture doesn't do it justice, sadly.At about this time, Hamilton came out with their asymmetrical models, which to this day often command high prices. I guess we know which 'watch of the future' caught on!

Citizen Lady watch
I just bought this Citizen watch and was wondering if any of you know how you change the day language on it?I bought it on Ebay and a manual did not follow with it. I manages to change the date, the time and the day too. The problem is wean it changes day it says what day it is on English from like 12:00 at the night an till 03:00 at the night and then it changes to Japanese or some other language and stays that way all day until 12 at the night.It is a PD3392-57A Citizen Eagle7 Auto.

Ordered 2 new Seikos
I don't know what came over me, but I found two Seikos I really like, at what I thought were good prices, so I made 2 semi-impulse purchases. I say semi, because I've wanted a watch with some form of retrograde feature, and a black stainless, so these fit the bill(s). Anybody have experience with black stainless Seikos and how well the black holds up? If I remember right, links to a purchased item on ebay are okay. Breitling 815 sub dial hand?
Hello gentleman, I recently picked up this Breitling 815 and just noticed a slight variance in the size of the hand in the sub dial at the 6 o'clock. It appears to be somewhat thinner in width than the hands on the other two sub dials. The dials at the 3 and 9 positions have a gradual flare at the top while the hand in question has very little flare. I'm trying to determine if this is correct or if possibly the hands are replacements. If there are any vintage Breitling buffs on here I would greatly appreciate any feedback. Cheers! 👍
