I finished up with another GIANT Elgin SIZE 6s Trench Watch over the Weekend
Hey guys!I finished up with another GIANT Elgin size 6s trench watch over the weekend.This is a 1917 with 15 jewels, serial number 20000201 (I'd love to get an even numbered SN one day like 20,000,000!!!)"MADE IN USA" stamped dial, stamped shrapnel guard, new mainspring, NOS glass crystal, new stem, new sleeve.The guard has a lot of wear but these are VERY hard to find for a size 6s!I had to replace the original factory crown, unfortunately the threads had been stripped over the years.Philadelphia "silverode" case that measures 41mm lug to lug and 38mm without the crown.The 1917 movement is now VERY clean and has an incredible demaskeen design!

The Straps at Watchprince.com...
I just picked up a black and brown "distressed aviator" style strap. They were only 16 bucks a piece, just wondering if any of you guys have purchased any of these, and if I'm going to regret going for the cheap stuff. It says they are Toscana Straps, and I've seen and handled some REALLY nice and expensive Toscanas, so hopefully these cheap guys have the same quality as some of the more expensive ones. But fill me in strap buyers! Thanks! -John

White Jumbo
I remember I bought this white dial older mode jumbo 15202 few years back from AD before it was discontinued and replaced by newer Jumbo with AP logo at 6 o clock. White jumbo may not as popular as the blue dial. But I like it a lots. This white color is whiter compare to silvery color on 15300 or 15400 for instance. Seldom see the white dial jumbo in forum. Post yours if you have. And next to her is another blue dial GG design brother 5711 jumbo.
