I've been trying to sort out what ETA is in this watch. The back only says 25jewels. As a newbie to all this the only thing I can find on line that correlates is the 2824-2 is a 25 jewel but I'm not sure if this is the only 25 jewel ETA makes. My friend dropped my watch!
A friend asked to see my new SD4k when we met for dinner for a guys night out, I handed it to him and went to the bathroom. I came back and he told me he accidentally dropped it! 🤬. At first I only noticed a ding on the lug, and didn��t care to fix it. But then today I saw that the crown has a bite out of it too!! He is willing to pay for it. I will definitely get the crown replaced, but am looking for advice if I should get the lug RE polished��I��d hate to do it but I also hate the feeling that the damage isn��t from me and that I��ll think about it every time I look at it. I live near the Beverly Hills service center. If I take my watch there, will they automatically polish the whole case even if I tell them not to?
