- I purchased this watch because I have two other DNKY watches and love them. However, this watch was too heavy and uncomfortable. I returned it yesterday. Sorry, DKNY.

Ebel 9087132-0240P wrist watches news:
Mido is a Swatch Group brand that doesn't have a tremendous amount of mindshare among wristwatch enthusiasts in the United States, although the company's been around for some time (founded in 1918) and the Group has retailers for Mido watches around the world. Its current collections have preserved some of the company's more popular vintage models, including the Multifort, Commander, and Ocean Star lines, and they've just announced a new model in the Baroncelli line: the Baroncelli Heritage. This is not a watch that's necessarily going to take the world by storm, but it doesn't need to: it's a good-looking watch for just a bit over $1,000, that's noticeably better thought out than a lot of its competition. 1 OF 4 Mido, for some time now, has been positioning itself as a company that takes design cues from world architecture – to be completely candid, the connection can sometimes seem a bit tenuous. I have a friend who basically does the estate/flea market/garage sale circuit and I asked him to keep an eye for anything that says Lord Elgin. Two weeks ago he called and said he bought a shoebox of watches at a garage sale and three were Lord Elgins. He told me he payed $5 for the box. He asked $40 for the Elgins...sold!Anyway, here are the other two. The square one doesn't run and the other runs but I'm not sure I want to put any money in it.The third one of course was the 760. It was dirty, and crystal looked like someone took sand paper to it, but once I cleaned it up, it looked pretty good. But, like the square Elgin, it didn't run.Anyway, sent it off to my watch guy and just got it back today. It was only a broken mainspring. He polished the crystal and buffed the case a bit and it looks great. The dial, hands, and markers look minty to me and the gold filled case is probably 93-95%. It even has the original crown. The only negative is that it is engraved on the back. Th
