Maurice Lacroix MP7268-SS001-110 wrist watches news:
We like good Breitling, and the new Transocean Chronograph doesn't disappoint. This model hankers for its roots a bit more than its predecessor with a vintage-feeling scheme and a simpler dial layout. Best of all, and unlike the earlier model, the Transocean Chronograph features a sapphire case back to showcase manufacture wares. 2 OF 4 The new model starts off with a 43 mm case (foreshadowing what's inside) in highly-polished stainless steel with steeply curved lugs. Like most Breitlings, you're bound to feel every millimeter of it. The dial has what Breitling calls "twinzone silver d¨¦cor," but it's more along the lines of champagne in color. The tachymeter scale (probably excessive on this watch) is still on the outer perimeter of the dial, only this time a darker disc highlights the applied hour markers and date window at 6 o'clock. 3 OF 4 Is the date window necessary? It probably is if you're a pilot or someone along those lines, but we're not sure of ho
I just received my new planet ocean today.I have a question for the more experienced watch owners. Should the case back be centered? Google was of little help in my search for the answer. I found pictures of both centered and offset cases backsIMG_8710[1].jpg.Thanks.
My last two watch purchases have been quartz movements. While they do not come close to replicating the craftsmanship and beauty of an automatic movement , they do perform the same basic function, that being time telling and being a pleasure to look at.I am now thinking that the vast majority of my future purchases will be quartz, kinetic,or eco drive for a reason of simple economics.I currently own over 25 automatics, many of which are well worth servicing when the time comes. If the time should come for many to need service at once I am presented with a problem.Who gets serviced first? Is the Omega more important than the Tutima and which needs it most??Is the Planet Ocean more deserving than the Seamaster GMT.Do I look the other way and ignore the Vollmers in favor of the Hamiltons.I have enough automatics to wear one every day of the month without duplication.Quartz , on the other hand, can satisfy my irrational need to buy a new watch now and then without bankrupting me in the future.Th
Will Patek ever release the 5726 in precious metals?
Well, after reviewing my Panerai Line, I have realized that my 560 and 564 is too similar (especially since they are both not sandwich style) So I decided to let go of the 564 (The titanium was nice at the beginning, but i wanted to feel the watch so this was the one to say bye bye)Out with the 564 and In with the new 1320! I think my line is complete for now....or at least until next year! enjoy!
