Girard Perregaux 80484D53A761-BK7A wrist watches news:
I went in to buy a 2209.50 today and when I was waiting to see the 2208 to compare the size the girl said have you seen the Vancouver winter olympics limited edition and I said no , so she brought one out for me to try and it was awesome in the box , but when I put it on it just seemed to lack something , I don't know what but it just did'nt look as good as the PO . It was a great price and limited to 2010 and individually numbered and would probably hold its value a lot better than the PO but my heart was set and I left the shop with probably the best looking watch I have ever seen , the 2209.50 . In the same position what would you have done , would you go with what your heart desired or thought of the future and went with the limited edition . Personally I have no regrets .Ps. check the second hand on the olympics watch....awesomePps. pictures do not do justice to the PO , it is stunning
I recently purchased an IWC Automatic "DeLuxe". I have found references to this watch in old IWC brochures and it appears to be very similar to the 1950's Ingeneur but without the anti-magnetic treatment. If you own one of these models or have any info on it I would be very grateful. THe watch I purchased is 18K yellow gold with a gold dial.
Hey there friends, since i started collecting watches Ive been in love with AP watches, considering them the best of the best, and right now im able to get my first one, the question is, what should I get for my first AP? the two options I have in mind is the AP Royal Oak 15400 black dial or the AP Diver. Thanks a lot for your opinion!
Got married earlier this year and wore my Patek Philippe Nautilus to mark the occasion. Has anyone else tied the knot while wearing a Patek? Or any nice watch for that matter.
Back story-This AD sells a lot of watches. Has been an AD for nearly 40 years. Is the owner. This AD also attends Baselworld each year. #1. He had an amazing selection. The only really notable exception was Daytona’s. He had all explorer and sub variants as well as 2 Batman, Sea Dweller, James Cameron, etc. His sense was that Rolex was not limiting supply. He had stock so it was hard to refute his opinion. He also didn’t believe there was going to be price increases, and he did not believe watches would be upgraded with newer movement or phased out entirely. He didn’t believe there was a need to rush to buy anything. He thought this year would bring some interesting releases but would not elaborate other than he didn’t think one needed to rush a purchase for fear of missing out. He also doesn’t give huge discounts but 10% off msrp is fair for him, I was just stunned that he was willing to give a discount at all considering all the horror stories online. I
