Girard Perregaux 80180-21-611-FK6A wrist watches news:
Back at SIHH 2012, Audemars Piguet released the Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin Openworked in platinum. This watch was an instant high-end hit and people (especially people here at HODINKEE) loved it. So you can imagine our excitement to see that AP has re-released the Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin, now in yellow gold. 1 OF 2 As you may know, Audemars Piguet is known for their openworked watches and the great amount of craftsmanship that goes into each piece is incredible. The first skeletonized AP was created around 1921 (a pocket watch with skeletonized dial) and the first skeletonized Royal Oak was made in 1986 (1993 for the first skeletonized women’s Royal Oak), so they have had plenty of time to perfect the technique. ADVERTISEMENT Just like the original Extra-Thin Tourbillon Openworked, the caliber 2924 movement (which was brand new back in 2012, celebrating 40 years of Royal Oak) is used in the new yellow-gold piece. Hello everyone,First of all, I want to thank everyone here in this great forum for all the great information and wonderful photos. You have all had great influence over the watches I have purchased in the past few years.I currently have a SMP model 2255.80.00 that started running roughly 2-3 hours fast, and want to send it in for repair. I just located an Omega repair facility very close to my home in La Grange, Illinois.I was wondering if anyone here has used their services and what their experience was with them. I would also be grateful for any other recommendations regarding other Omega repair facilities.Any information that you could provide would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!Geoff
hello,I'm Currently in russia doing an internship at raketa, so I wanted, as I only have a week left, to share some tips and informations about raketa to you, fellow watch lovers out there. So if you have any question about raketa or russian watchmaking in general, dont hesitate! its always a pleasure.
I've had my Speedy for about a week now, and am thoroughly enjoying it. I do have one concern. It is runnning about +9 seconds fast per 24 hours. It is fully wound every 24 hours, and I've tried different overnight positions- dial up, down, crown up, down etc. I am used to my Rolexes being very accurate and I realize that the Omega is not COSC certified, but is +9 casue for concern? Thanks for the help.
I'm considering flipping my 36mm YG DayDate & SubC for one of these but change my mind daily. I prefer the bezel on the GMT, but prefer the Sub as a watch over the GMT - help!
