Invicta 7187 wrist watches news:
Hi guys,I am looking for an every day watch to compliment my new JLC dress watch I'm ordering next week.I've sold the Rolex SD and need something sturdy and up to everyday use.I'd prefer a 100m WR but I know the original pro does not have that, does the Sapphire sandwich?I've never been a huge Speedy Pro fan but today I tried one on and I must admit there's just something about it! Those white hands, the size, the general look.anyway despite my reservations about needing a date function (I really do check the date several times a day but that could be cus I have no need to remember it!)I could come round to the manual winding thing (I think)But I don't know if I could accept a heselite glass. I know myself well enough to know I'd scratch the heselite within days! The whole heritage / Moon thing does not mean a lot to me so it's just about the watch.I would therefore probably consider a "Sapphire Sandwich" but am not sure about the extra cost for a couple of sapphire glasses.Any advice?H
While I dont have many details on the actual watch other than what I have read on the net, WWE wrestler Dave Batista has had a Rolex worth $60,000 stolen from the backstage/dressing room area at Wrestlemania 24 in Orlando Florida on March 29th 2008. Not sure how the lowlife who stole the watch would attempt to get rid of it, but I just thought I would pass this info along for you guys to have in mind if "that too good of a deal happens to come along." Somewhere on the net or in your travels to the places watch folk travel! As I am sure who ever stole the watch will get noticed wearing it and people would become suspicious, unless of course they have the means to afford such a piece which I doubt, I am assuming the person will eventually try to sell the item on the blackmarket. The article also states that passports, wallets, keys etcwere also stolen and it did not post any details other than a 60,000 Rolex. I searched the net and two photos show him wearing a Sub and also a GOLD rolex,
Merry Christmas to our owner John all the Moderators and of coarse to the members and there families.Wishing everyone Heath, happiness in the comingyear and the watch of your dreams. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Barry
G'day everyone. I couldn't find very much info about this reference, hence am just wondering if anyone has experience owning one for a while ? I have a chance to buy a blue-dialled one which comes with everything in the box. It's a used 2008 watch and looks in pristine condition and everything works fine. It's AP's first RO chrono though with a Piguet movement and I'm just if there's anything I should be concerned about.
Hello all! So, I just received my 116520 back from RSC yesterday after about 2 months. This is the first time I've ever sent a watch to RSC for service by the way and I agreed to the full spa treatment as I thought it would be worth it for a Daytona. While I'm sure (I hope) that the quality of the movement service was good, I was not impressed with how the watch looked on the outside when I got it back. They asked me to inspect it, but it was full of fingerprints and some kind of light oil it seems. They handed me a polishing cloth, but I didn't want to wipe down the watch and possibly scratch a newly polished watch. I took it home, knowing there's a fresh 2 year warranty and figured I'm sure all is fine. At home, I immediately gave the watch a nice bath with some Dawn dish soap and got all the greasiness off. I could now really inspect the watch. I must say that the polishing isn't up to snuff with what I would have expected. The brushed areas are uneven, and on the clasp they missed
