Graham Graham 3016 wrist watches news:
I guess I'm looking for opinions on what to do, and to find out if this is something that can be fixed easily by a decent watchmaker. My new Oris Classic Date seems to have a slightly bent second hand. I would post photos, but it's hard enough to see in person, let alone to catch it in a photo. I didn't notice it at first because it isn't bent side to side, rather up and down. In other words, if you look straight down at the watch dial you can't tell it's bent, but if you look at it at an angle you can see it, mostly because of the way light reflects off of it.I sent an email to the source I purchased it from, but I don't know if they will help since I've already had the bracelet sized, and it picked up a scratch or two on the edge of the bracelet near the clasp during the sizing. So, could a decent watchmaker either "unbend" it, or would a replacement second hand be readily available and affordable?Lastly, am I being overly picky since it is very difficult to notice, and I didn't eve
Haven't wore my Jacques Lemans F1 in a while...only 18 more days till till the new F1 season starts! -Shawn
it seems to me this could be a good talking point. the obvious one that springs to my mind is the co-axial movement. but no doubt there are other watch related complications to discuss.
Well, I thought I was done with watches for 2016 but yesterday I purchased my second AP for the year....it's a 42mm elephant and I can't wait to get it on a Horus grey camo strap - will post pics as soon as it arrives!Feeling as giddy as a schoolgirl
.forbes/sites/hannahel...-pocket-watch/ Someone tell me I don't know how to read.....please. I just read that they want almost $72k for a pocket watch that has zero complications and not a single precious stone on it. (I'm not taking jewels for movement).Panerai, I love you, but but but.........really?
