Graham 2CFCS.B18A.K25B wrist watches news:
You want the best in modern watchmaking? You're looking at it.? Tomorrow in Hong Kong, Christie's will offer up three of the most interesting, provocative, and important examples of today's horology all in one room.?They have an MB&F HM3 in white gold, an Urwerk 202 in a rare configuration of dark Blue PVD coated platinum (blue platinum, you fo' real?) and finally, the rarest of them all, a Harry Winston Opus V.? The Opus V is heralded by many as one of the most important watches of the past decade, combining Maximillian Busser's business sense as then head of Harry Winston Timepieces and the technical skills of the boys at Urwerk.?The Opus V helped pave the way for both MB&F and Urwerk to become the powerhouse independent brands that they are today, and it's also what we imagine will be the only chance to own a watch with ties to both Mr. Busser and Mr. Baumgartner in the foreseeable future.? Only 45 Opus V's were made in platinum and most are locked away in collectors' safes. The MB&F
Might anyone here own the limited Bob Dylan Oris, and be able to post pictures I can drool over?I want to see some non-stock photos
So as when I was pretty sure I'm getting my greytheme roo I went to the AD and happen to see this ROC it was stunning. It is different to the roo definitely but price wise I'm offered a similar price (almost the same) I like the Roo a bit more but the bracelet on the roc got me thinking about getting a bit more bang for the buck and wondering if the roc would hold it value better? Finally the Proud Papa of a Patek Phillipe! Like I said earlier Happy #$% Birthday to me!Just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to all on here who responded to my earlier query and/or PM'd me with recommendations. Thanks to a wonderful referral here on the forum I was able to find and purchase through an AD. The AD very kindly shipped everything in the PP factory sealed packaging. The watch was actually in a separate plastic pouch from the box. But what kinda impressed me was that the box was very carefully wrapped in white tissue paper. The dealer added some Patek Phillipe literature, a nice touch....Yay! Still can't quite believe it. Since I'm GMT-4 I think 4pm local looks quite cool...like it almost forms a perfect triangle of time. So, fun fact (at least to me)...I was admiring my date correction pen/stylus or whatever it's called....(side note, watch had some tool marks around the 3-4 o'clock position of the brushed bezel just kinda visible in this photo...kind of a weird bumm
A lot of Panerai! It is not everyday you see a tray of cali dials
