Hi guy's, just wanted to share a quick picture of my newly acquired Sub-c. Hope everyone is having a good week! Cheers! Sabeo.mImageUploadedByTapatalk1360697828.421414.jpg
They've got their Akribos brand on SAH and Stuhrling on SNBC. They have several of the exact same watches and must be owned by the same people. I'd like to know how they pulled this off. Great business move.I know many don't like their watches because they use the Chinese movements, but you must give props to their business acumen. Plus they use a Ronda movement in their Hublot look-alike for you Swissies out there. I own the Akribos that looks like the Breitling and really like it. Put an Invicta alligator strap on it and it looks beautiful for only 80 bucks. I might one day even buy that Hublot homage, which as Larry pointed out, does indeed look a great deal like the Royal Oak by AP.
Scott D posted pictures of the JLC Regulator Tourbillion which he saw in a store. When I asked about the price, it was in the neighborhood of 50k. Now that is a lot of money. My question is, if you had 50k to spend, and spending this money will not affect you or your family, would you buy it or would you buy a new car. Maybe even 2 new cars. How about a boat. Maybe something else. My question, even if you had the money, would you buy any watch for that amount instead of other things in life?I would never spend that much on a watch.
I have never owned a decent watch...mostly 10-15 dollars casios. I have been thinking about spending 100-150 on my next watch since I would like to have at least a somewhat decent one. I am wondering what is the general consensus for a quality watch for every day casual wear?I have been looking at Invicta, Seiko, and Skagen. Thanks in advance.
Any opinion on whether Nautilus preowned like 3800 ss are peakin in price? Got asked ¡ê25000 for a 1989 or €21500 for a 1983 no papers... Time to wait?
