Bond SMP still a chronometer!
Hurray, two weeks after getting my 2531.80 out of the shop for an overhaul it's settling back down and is now running a steady +5 sec per day. There's never been any doubt about the watches precision but being back into the COSC chronometer accuracy range again makes me very happy. The poor watch has survived a few hair raising scrapes and a sometimes rough and tumble work schedule quite admirably. Man I really need to have a good spare or for when this one (or the other one) is out for servicing. One good chronometer grade timepiece is not enough! Almost enough but not quite.
