- i bought this watch for myself as a classy, everyday watch and I love it! Was thrown off by the double clasp, but I've gotten used to it.

Hamilton H42221155 wrist watches news:
I am a new member and reader. I have always liked watches but never really had the finances to pursue it. I currently have a Longines Dolce Vita L5.502.4.16.6 and am starting to plan how I can start adding some good watches. Any advice from people on how to start small collections on a decent but not fabulous income and a wife and kids is appreciated!! One day I would like my collection to include a Rolex (prob submariner or similar) as well as a couple of Omegas. We'll see!I am thinking of buying a Planet Ocean 2909.50.82, with the black rubber band. I was wondering what peoples thoughts are on this model? How wearable is the band? Do you sweat under it? How does it age? Will the orange on the PO cause it to date quickly be not so fun to wear? Will the orange affect resale value?I also like the 2209.50.00 with the steel band, but not quite so much. Is the only difference the bands? If I bought both bands how hard would it be to change them over myself?
Looking at the new Aquatimer line, it certainly is the year of the Aquatimer. I really like the new models but I miss the Titanium models and I love special features on a watch so when I had the opportunity to get this pre-loved Split Minute at a good price, I couldn't resist!Even though it's a high watch at just over 16 mm, it wears very comfortable. Being used to the BP makes this one at 44 mm feel reasonably sized.Kind regards,Cinq
Last few weeks I have been putting up some rolexes for sale in a local forum. Together with them, is my moonwatch 1861.14060m, 16750 pepsi, 1601, 16710(single lock), moonwatch.I priced them all at market values(some even slight below market values).90% of the inquiries were for the moonwatch! and some very close to closing.A legend or what? Think I just might keep it a little longer!
I'm about to receive an incoming. It is a very joyous time; but, I get scared when I have too many watches, lest I not wear them enough. So, this got me thinking....Should I sell my 5711 (blue) and 5164 for the 5990?Pros:1) I consolidate the number of watches, and thus secure wrist time. 2) I'm able to keep my much needed travel time feature, which I love because I travel so much. 3) I gain a chrono feature, which neurotically use to time the flights I'm on. 4) I'm able to shed the 5164, which I love, but not in the same way I loved my erstwhile 5167. Cons:1) I lose the awesome coolness of the rubber strap2) I lose the 5711's to-die-for blue dial
Here for a few days and wouldn't mind picking up a watch. Any places to go find a deal?
