Hublot 301.SB.131.SB wrist watches news:
We get a lot of requests to write about "more affordable" watches - which is tough as we are such high-brow snobs. Having said that, watches-dealer is produced by regular people whose budgets are probably closer to beer than champagne much of the time. So, here are a couple of watches from Bianci. You'll find these watches at various stores online often for discounts compared to the "retail prices." Each of these watches retails for somewhere in the $400 range, but are less when you look around for them online. These are decent timepieces and they are also fashionable. Bianci's best designs are for women, while they also have a men's collection.Buying watches as gifts for women is hard when you don't have Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, or Rolex amounts of money to spend. Your typical department store fare is often generic looking or boring, and worse, you can get a woman a gift that a few of her friends already have. I am pretty sure they hate that sort of thing. These two watches are
I'm currently in a pickle.I've got my eye on a handful of watches, a bunch that can be had for ~$100, and a few that retail for ~$500If you were in my situation, which direction would you take? Get all of the cheapies or one or two of the nicer ones?Inexpensive variety:Invicta 8928Invicta Dragon LupahJacques Lemans F1 (rectangle)Invicta Speedway (black face)Alpha Planet OceanMore expensive variety:Archimede PilotBoschett Reef RangerMagrette Regattare DLCHamilton Ventura*My watch budget will be ~$600 in the next few months - which way do you think I should go?*I need a dress watch...
I know it isn't always the case. Especially when some companies have tossed them in just for advertising sake. How many is too many? How few is too few? I recall 17 being a mark of a quality. What's the difference between a 17, 21, 25? Can the 17 still be a more precise movement than the 21s etc. regardless of the amount of jewel bearings?
I am tired of spending over a thousand on a watch to have it IGNORED by the general public!!This is the time of year that I go on vacation to Hawaii and buy a new watch. I can buy used or new - BUT I THINK IT MUST BE A COOLER, MODERN WATCH!I am tired of buying vintage Rolex that NO ONE notices. What I want now is to get into Panerai, AP roo, Hublot Big Bang, Bulgari, Graham.....SOMETHING THAT BLOWS THE OBSERVER DOWN! If I am spending multiple thousands for a watch, IT BETTER GET UP IN YOUR FACE. I'M DONE WITH SUBTLETY.Can I do this for under $3000???? What are your horological suggestions, my friends????
My second AP (first one being AP Diver white dial) and wow, what a watch. The enlarged 41mm dial with double batons at 12 is indeed the centerpiece of this watch.Mandatory wrist shot, on my puny 6.4¡±-6.5¡± wrist.
