Having said that, watches-dealer is produced by regular people whose budgets are probably closer to beer than champagne much of the time. More Jewels=Better Precision?
I know it isn't always the case. Especially when some companies have tossed them in just for advertising sake. How many is too many? How few is too few? I recall 17 being a mark of a quality. What's the difference between a 17, 21, 25? Can the 17 still be a more precise movement than the 21s etc. regardless of the amount of jewel bearings?

I am tired of spending over a thousand on a watch to have it IGNORED by the general public!!This is the time of year that I go on vacation to Hawaii and buy a new watch. I can buy used or new - BUT I THINK IT MUST BE A COOLER, MODERN WATCH!I am tired of buying vintage Rolex that NO ONE notices. What I want now is to get into Panerai, AP roo, Hublot Big Bang, Bulgari, Graham.....SOMETHING THAT BLOWS THE OBSERVER DOWN! If I am spending multiple thousands for a watch, IT BETTER GET UP IN YOUR FACE. I'M DONE WITH SUBTLETY.Can I do this for under $3000???? What are your horological suggestions, my friends????
