Hublot 361.SL.6010.LR.1907 wrist watches news:
In 2014, Ball Watch broke new ground in antimagnetic watch technology with the introduction of its Engineer II Magneto S, a watch that featured an inner shield, made of a patented alloy called “mumetal,” which protected its mechanical movement from the adverse effects of magnetic fields. This year, the company takes the concept a step further with the Engineer II Volcano, which boasts an entire case made of antimagnetic mumetal. I got my first look at the watch this week at the JCK watch and jewelry fair in Las Vegas. Why “Volcano?” Because, the company says, volcanoes are among the most ideal environments for exploration and research into antimagnetic technologies because of their natural links to strong magnetic fields; volcanoes inspired Ball Watch’s researchers to further develop the magnetism-resistant mumetal alloy beyond its initial usage, as a protective inner “diaphragm” surrounding the movement, and incorporating it into the components
Graham has just announced a new version of its Moon Watch, which has an oversized moon phase indicator and flying tourbillon. It now comes in a 18k white gold case, with a black sapphire bezel and a black dial decorated with diamonds ¨C all brought together in an effort to make the beautiful and gigantic Moon stand out on the dial even more.Graham is a curious brand. And I think most people associate them with large and flashy sport watches, not to mention also their signature - and frankly humongous - crown protection system, as found on their Chronofighter and Prodive models. However, unknown to many, Graham also has a line of more classically styled watches, under their Geo.Graham collection. ¡°Geo¡± actually has two meanings here. Firstly, Geo is short for George, or rather George Graham, the English watchmaker that the brand gets its name from. Secondly, Geo also refers to geology and that the watches in this collection are somewhat inspired by this subject ¨C or rather astronomy, to b
The?humbly, yet implicatively titled Aviation collection possibly is the most widely recognized range of watches from Bell & Ross. With its debut in 2005 it not only helped to bring the brand to a much wider audience, but also to ultimately make watches inspired by aviation and instruments a more important trend in the watch world.?The BR03 line of watches are part of the Aviation collection and today we are looking at a new and very limited piece called the BR03-51 GMT-TWG, sold exclusively by?The Watch Gallery UK.The model in question is an alternative version of the also new BR03-51 GMT Carbon, which is not to be confused with the other model called "GMT Titanium" (the one that actually has a dial where there's carbon fiber material visible). What the GMT Carbon offers instead is a carbon dial in solid black, a 42 millimeter stainless steel case with black PVD coating to increase the stealthy nature of the watch, and also the dial now proudly states GMT just below the Bell &
...for myself:I went to Tiffany's this afternoon to buy Windy's Christmas gift, and while I was there I ran upstairs to see what they had available in black straps.Well, it turns out they were clearing out 2. One was just like the leather strap that originally came with the Mark Coupe but was a long size. The other was the lizard shown above. I had looked at it before when I bought the croc strap and almost bought it. There are a few watches this would look sharp on, but this one is the front runner today:
I had some straps that I ordered a while back, One is the GP strap with red which I bought used and the other is a strap I bought from AP bands, I think it is the Ruebens Barrichello with white stitch. Both are a great change to the rubber. I really like the AP bands one, but I have had a hell of a time trying to fit it. I bent one screw bar in the process and I am ready to send it back for crappy fitment issues. Too bad, it¡¯s a nice strap for the SS. Anyway, here are some pics of my experiment this afternoon!
