Longines L5.655.6 wrist watches news:
Anybody have an Omega Seamaster Apnea?I've always thought they were fascinating watches. Any opinions /pics from owners ?
Before I started posting photos of toy dogs and watches, I should have said hi. I look forward to discussing Omegas from time to time, and I'm sure this forum is a vast resource. I'm trying to think of a good Speedmaster/moon trivia question to get everyone thinking, but I have a feeling many of you know all the answers. Hmmm. How about this instead: In my other post I mentioned the Aldrin Speedmaster, possibly the most sought-after watch in the world, certainly among Speedmaster collectors. If that watch were to surface in the hands of a private owner, and its whereabouts became known to NASA, Aldrin, the US govt, etc, who is the rightful owner of the watch? I am sure this has been discussed before, but it could make for interesting discourse. Opinions? I'll begin by stating that NASA is the rightful owner UNLESS Aldrin can produce a document assigning ownership to him. Without such a document, claiming to own the watch would be much like a soldier claiming to own his issued
Have an old Omega Constellation 18k face I think? with a leather wrist strap, my question is the face is all scratched, can I have the watch tuned up and replace the face to saphire crystal? also do they sell a leather strap that is Omega? seems when my dad replaced the strap he just used a regular leather strap. I would want the orig. omega strap.Where can this be done, any watch maker with good skills (I know one, who replaced the crown on my Tag Heuer) or does it have to be an Omega dealer?thanks for your help!!BTW... I was looking on ebay and saw a watch that looks exactly like it, it was listed as Constellation 18k I think. I think only the hour markers and watch arms are 18k right?
In my last post, most of you friends recommend me to keep the 5167a and geta 5712a, so I decide to keep 2 watches, 1 tropical bracelet and 1 stainless steel bracelet. The problem now is that do I need to change my 5167a to 5164a? Which combination is better?
Thanh aka takuya, thanks so much for the great transaction and great addition to my collection!I also changed the bracelet to the gridlock, and I like the comfort. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
