Hublot 341.SX.1270.VR.1104 wrist watches news:
Watch What-If - the watches-dealer series where we invite guest designers to imagine existing watches in new ways - is back with a look at the Tudor Black Bay. Watch enthusiast and artist Synaptyx takes a look at this modern "classic" from Tudor that interprets the brand's design heritage in a way that has captivated so many of today's watch lovers. watches-dealer reviewed the Tudor Black Bay watch here. Here are some words from Synaptyx on his designs:Recently, there has been a big push in Superhero movies, and there are tie-ins in every market. I thought why not a versatile Tudor watch for Superheroes, Super-villains, and Super-spies. This line of thinking lead me to the drawing board and back to the Tudor Black Bay that I wanted to see, but with a twist. Here is a snowflake-dialed Tudor Black Bay in some super-character driven iterations.Above, to our Super-spy, James Bond. What modern day Tudor could he get the most use out of? A GMT version seems like a good fit, with all that tra
There seem to be a cornucopia of new automatic Omegas recently, so this may help you keep them wound properly. If you go to Orbita's website orbita you can find out how by following these steps:1) select your continent by clicking it on the map2) select your language preference3) on the left, in the green column, select "Support"4) on the left, in the green column, select "Watch Database"5) choose the letter that the brand name starts withYou can then page through the different watches by calibre number of model. For instance, an Aqua Terra 2500 series require between 650 to 800 turns per day (TPD) in either a clockwise (CW) or counter-clockwise (CCW) direction. SMP 2254 series requires 650 TPD in either direction (show as BOTH). Now to convert it to your winder if it does not have this in the instructions, use some simple math. I have 4 settings that spin the watch in whichever direction I choose 8 times over a 30 second interval. I can change the winder to do this every 12, 15,
Hi there. I'm new to this. I just bought a pre-owned Panerai Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Auto online for below market value which came with what appears to be an original box and papers but I have concerns over whether the watch is a replica. It seems very solid but my concerns are:1. The date is quite difficult to read2. There is no serial stamp on the case (should there be?)3. The only Panerai markings on the movement are on the rotor (it appears to be an ETA but I am no expert). There are no references to this particular watch on the International Guarantee certificate that came with the watch. I have pics I can post but wanted to feel the waters first in case this is just another annoying post from a sucker that didn't do his homework .Can anyone help?thanks
John & I toured the NAWCC museum in the morning and RGM after lunch. He'll be doing the full photo tour, but here's a few teaser shots as a preview. You can check the Omega and Hamilton Forums for other brand influenced photos. There were plenty of things to see at the NAWCC museum, including a small exhibit with pieces on loan from NASA (including a moon rock sample). Everyone was fantastic, and Noel, Marcus and Carter went out of their way to accommodate our picture taking requests. I felt bad for Carter (the curator) who had to track down the keys for a few displays. Here's a marine chronometer from a time when American watch making was dominant in the industry:How about a triple calendar office clock?Just a tiny fraction of the gorgeous pocket watches:These two are from the early 1700's:And what a huge display of clocks of all types and sizes!...but you'll see MUCH more when John completes his editing. Noel even took us into the backrooms and storage areas. He told us tha
