Polishing mineral crystal on modern Ventura?
So, of course, just as I'm deciding to sell or trade my modern Ventura, I notice that it somehow got a time scratch on the crystal. And, while it doesn't look that deep, I can feel it with my fingernail.Can this be polished out or filled? I would really prefer to not invest in a new crystal OR take a huge hit on the sale price, because of a little mark. Is there a cheap but effective fix?Thanks!
So, of course, just as I'm deciding to sell or trade my modern Ventura, I notice that it somehow got a time scratch on the crystal. And, while it doesn't look that deep, I can feel it with my fingernail.Can this be polished out or filled? AVI-8 owners? Post here if so...
I recently had some gift cards at Amazon, and ended up purchasing the AVI-8 Flyboy. I got the Miyota 8215 automatic version, and with an attractive tan colored dial. The lug size is 22mm, and I immediately changed out the NATO strap for a custom leather 2 pc strap from bststrap I'd won via a very generous giveaway contest. I'm very happy with the watch so far, and like the easily readable dial, the lume, overall size and appearance. Here's a couple of pics. If anyone else has an AVI-8 watch, feel free to post them here. Eric
