- Watch works fine in all areas. I had to recalibrate the compass when I received it (which was simple). The Lens alone is as as a silver dollar, which makes for easy viewing. All in all a nice watch for the price.

Omega ST 176.0005 wrist watches news:
The most secretive new watch in recent history finally launched last night, as the long-awaited Harry Winston Opus 14 made its debut at a lavish 1950s-themed party at Kurhaus Casino in Baden-Baden, Germany ¡ª along with the surprise announcement of “Blurred Lines” crooner Robin Thicke as the watch-and-jewelry giant’s new brand ambassador.Guests traveled to the event in classic American muscle cars from the ¡®50s (mine was a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado) and were greeted by roller-skating hostesses before entering the main hall, which was decked out like a gigantic 1950s diner, complete with pinball machines, cocktail selections on old-fashioned diner menus, and black-and-white images of 1950s stars like Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and Cary Grant. On the main stage, flanked by jukeboxes, Harry Winston CEO Nayla Hayek presented the watch, after which Thicke, freshly introduced as a Harry Winston brand ambassador and wearing an Opus 14, wowed the international crowd with an i
This one just arrive about an hour ago! My all time favorite Omega - the Speedmaster Day/Date 3520.53.00 a.k.a. "Mk40".This is the original Michael Schumacher watch, and it features an Omega modified Valjoux 7751 automatic movement. I had one of these previously that I foolishly sold off. Lucky for me I was able to acquire this one which is actually in better shape than the first one I owned. It really is in amazing condition considering that it is at least 10 years old! All the functions work perfectly, and even the lume still kicks it like it was brand new!I simply love the gray dial combined with red, yellow, and white hand colors. This is the only watch I've ever kept on a winder just because it takes awhile to set if you let it stop running.. :) Of course I like the Speedmaster bracelet, but I think I'll be putting this on a genuine Omega double ridge strap like the one shown in the Omega advertisement below.
So what do you guys think of the two-toned Crosswind Special LE with a gold intead of stainless steel bezel? Too much gold, or good combination?
So I posted a thread a few days ago to see if I can get some information on this Patek, some said it might be real some said it's fake.So I took it to a service center and had the watch opened up (amazing how the movement looks, makes a big impression) and it's a real Patek which makes me very happy. They told me the watch needs a service and told me they would get me the ref# and a full description and model history for around 1000pln (350usd). Is that a fair price? The gentleman at the service center didn't want to tell me much about the watch until I handed over some money, but he said he knows Pateks fairly well and he told me is very old and a rare model. He was really impressed with the craftsmanship of the gold watch strap as well.He also told me that selling a watch like this could be tricky, if you want to get top dollar you need all the information you can get and put it out where collectors of such watches would be looking.Any tips on how to do this? Thanks!Rob
Hey, folks, I've learned that beepworld's display back includes the pricey spacer ring for my mid-90s Speedy Pro, but unfortunately, he won't have stock for SIX weeks! If he did, I would gladly pay his asking price. So, is there a reasonable alternative? After market or OEM OMEGA is OK, so long as the price isn't too far off beepworld's. I know that Ofrei sells a real OMEGA display back for like $500 + $62 for the spacer. It's time to have a look at this movement:
