IWC IW3713-43 wrist watches news:
A few days ago, I promised GrumpyGuy that I'd write a brief review of the Tissot SeaStar 1000 with the (somewhat) new Powermatic 80 movement. In the interest of full disclosure, I need to tell you that I'm not a review writing kind of guy, but since I promised...Tissot has been around for a while. 162 years if my aging eyes read the dial text correctly. While I'm not familiar with their historical designs, some of their recent offerings have caught my eye. Of particular interest is the newly refreshed Seastar. The old model appealed to me as a nice entry level diver but having several entry level pieces from other brands, I never pulled the trigger. Then last May, Ariel Adams wrote a piece on his excellent website, ABlogToWatch titled "Tissot Seastar 1000 Powermatic 80 Watch Hands-On: Upgrades Increase The Want". Increase the want indeed, as I've been looking for a red bezel version on a bracelet ever since.Come to find out, it doesn't exist. Well, Tissot indicates it's available in
First off I am wondering if I can change the band of this watch to a metal one, which would be the best?Second once I had this metal band how do I go about changing it?Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Strap Sport Watch #AT0840-03E:
Hello,I am thinking of purchasing the 5726 from my AD when available. It will become my joint daily wearer alongside my 5205R black dial.Any thoughts on this reference? Specifically if the bezel is a scratch magnet and if the finish holds up well to daily usage? I like my watches to stay looking fresh. I would mostly use it on the leather strap but also put it on the composite for holidays where we would be by the pool. Also any alternative suggestions in case there's a model I've missed? I want a little more sporty design, in white metal, on a strap and a case that isn't too thin (so no 5712). Given these factors the Nautilus and specifically the 5726 seems the obvious choice. I think the watch itself is a real beauty and I love the symmetry of the dial in addition to the slightly chunky Nautilus case - so much presence! The only negative really is that I already have the AC complication on my 5205.Any thoughts? Thanks.
How come pam356 (chrono daylight) is not on the panerai website anymore?I think its a great piece. Anyone else likes panerai with 3 meters in the dial? (Forgive my noob language, similar to daytona is what i mean)
I was in Austin, TX with some friends this past weekend ... we got some great BBQ at Black's. Took this picture for scale ...
