Divers question
Hi All,Have fairly stupid question on diversi recently developed an unbearable urge to purchase another divers watch (again), and i'd like to try some inexpensive and somewhat classic variant. Off cause the SKX007 attracted my attention, but also i came accross this: Invicta 9937OB Pro Diver Collection Swiss. Now, what would you think/recommend? they are in the same preice nishe and both look great, also I am a bit concerned that INvicta looks a lot like Submariner, while Seiko looks original (+ for me).. My current divers is Seamaster, and i do have a plans of aquiring submariner, but this is a long term. More that this, i am looking in somewhat cheaper watches to be involved in some sport activities without too much concern of damaging them (i was told that playing golf while wearing your automatic is not good for the watch?). And yes my diving experience is limited by be an 'office desk diver', but does it matter?Thanks in advance for your opinions :)

United States Patent 5516005 A defense device, mounted on a wrist watch and made part of it, has a gas chamber underneath the wrist watch. The chamber, containing pressurized repellant gas, is locked to the watch with an interlocking ring between the watch and the gas chamber. The gas can be released by a user by pushing a trigger end of a pin to actuate the release of the gas at the other end, where a nozzle discharges the gas sideways in a wide spray impinging on an incoming attacker. The invention is formed to blend inconspicuously with the design of the watch, so as to prevent the incoming attacker from knowing of the device. A user of the device may pretend to read the time, while in reality releasing the repellant gas from the side of the hand to the incoming attacker. The interlocking ring has an aperture at the top to accommodate a wrist watch, and an aperture at the bottom to accept a matching gas chamber and lock it into position, ready for firing.

Alfex?
Hi, New around here. I've seen a few "alfex" watches around, and looking on their web site, some of their watches are absolutely gorgeous. For some reason, there's virtually no mention of them on this site. Can anyone tell me anything about them?

The four seasons...
Ahhh after all the snow we've had dumped on us I thought of this symphony of watches to remind myself that spring is hopefully inevitable....Winter - icy cold and primal Spring - refreshing, crisp, energizing and rebirth!Summer - blazing heat and blinding sunny glory!Fall - all colors, cool breezes and qarm sweaters and walks in the park!Now of course I jut wear them whenever I like :) but thought it would make a nice little symphony of pics from my lineup! Feel free to share your own if you care!
