On October 5, Audemars Piguet Japan held the brand’s 135th anniversary and new product launch party in the ¡°Choice!¡± restaurant on the third floor of Tokyo’s prestigious Ark Mori building. The event was attended by 500 guests including VIPs, celebrities and media. The evening included the launch of a new Royal Oak Offshore limited edition. Sell 5711 + 5164 for the 5990
I'm about to receive an incoming. It is a very joyous time; but, I get scared when I have too many watches, lest I not wear them enough. So, this got me thinking....Should I sell my 5711 (blue) and 5164 for the 5990?Pros:1) I consolidate the number of watches, and thus secure wrist time. 2) I'm able to keep my much needed travel time feature, which I love because I travel so much. 3) I gain a chrono feature, which neurotically use to time the flights I'm on. 4) I'm able to shed the 5164, which I love, but not in the same way I loved my erstwhile 5167. Cons:1) I lose the awesome coolness of the rubber strap2) I lose the 5711's to-die-for blue dial
