Hublot 731.QX.1140.RX wrist watches news:
Celebrating the fact arts an integral part of the current marketing strategy of Montblancs and brand persona. As the price of leadership, not only the overall film, the judges emphasized the ability of the Director to work with the medium of film as well as connect with the public.
What is there to say? After Aurel Bacs and the Phillips team proved that one of the least-cool watches in the world could indeed be cool on Saturday night with the Day-Date sale, expectations were high but tempered for Sunday night's Geneva Watch Auction: One, a multi-brand, multi-owner sale encompassing everything from modern, still-in-production JLC's to piece-unique vintage Pateks. The entire sale netted $25.2 million (combined with the Day-Date sale, the weekend pulled in over $31m), and four watches hammered over 1m CHF, including a stainless-steel Patek that brought down $5m on its own. Let's break the sale down for you. Stainless-Steel Patek Philippe Mono-Pusher Chronograph Becomes The Most Expensive Steel Ever Sold, And The Third Most Expensive Wristwatch Ever 1 OF 10 A few weeks back, I wrote a story that there were four watches in this sale that could, and should break $1m. As it would happen, four was indeed the number of pieces that broke th
Hey guys, I wanted to just do a very short study and pictorial review of just what the differences are between real OEM 6309 Hands vs. Aftermarket. We all know that today with so many refurbished 6309divers watches floating around with many being retro fitted with aftermarket dials & hand sets from the Philippines, that it's sometimes confusing to know which is which, so we will take a quick look at these hands both real and aftermarket. (Not that there's anything wrong with refurbished watches, but some of us prefer all originals if we have the choice)First off, we'll take the type 1 set of Seiko (aftermarket seiko 6309 hands) and examine them at there main points of identification: These hands have semi sharp edges at the spear point head that have weak finishing and rounded edges around there whole length, the minutes hand has an extra long spear point which doesn't come close to OEM, the center shaft is wider than the seiko OEM hands and the meatball is larger and not well fin
Greetings Everyone....What a great forum! Sure I will be learning a lot! Just bought myself my 1st new watch in 15 years! I lost my other watch, ( a cheap one ) long time ago and have been using my cell phone as a watch!!!Just bought a Citizen Eco Drive 8700. Just had it one day, so far so good! I set it with the U.S. Atomic Clock on line. Was more watch then what I really set out to get! The sales person in the Jewelry Store was wearing one, and showed it to me, sold me on it!! Been learning the in's and outs of this watch and it is a lot of fun! Too early for a real review, but just a couple of things I have noticed.1. Bracelet - Rather small wrist - adjusted at the store, just a bit on tight side, add one more linktoo lose!2. Alarm Function: I tried it. Volume so low!!! Really not worth much.3. Setting in two time zones: Like it..Nice feature.4. Eco Drive - Great idea! Never buy another battery!5. Perpetual Time - Nice! Good until Feb 2100!!!
Gents,On Wednesday evening I made an inflamatory and disrespectful post - for this I am sorry. I take full responsibility for the stupid and inflamatory comments which I made. They were off base and in the words of my late Father completely out of line. Its not important nor is is necessary for me to provide reasoning behind why I said what I did - simply I was wrong. Please permit this lapse of judgement as my mulligan on the board. Regards. Ed
