IWC IW500432 wrist watches news:
"The A. Lange & S?hne Langematik Perpetual?was created for people who expect technical progress to make life more convenient" ¨C this is the first thing that the German high-end watch manufacturer?has to say about their latest model. Sure, if?there ever was a typical Lange consumer in our minds, that is a person with pragmatic thinking and an appreciation for more refined things in life. But even?he or she knows that expecting technical progress from a device that has been?obsolete for the better part of 40 years is a bit backwards ¨C and yet, it is possible in the amusing world of high-end watchmaking. Ultimately, Lange delivers on its claims by making the A. Lange & S?hne Langematik Perpetual an extremely refined, thin, and yet highly functional perpetual calendar watch with some notable unique features ¨C offering us a lot to do discuss here, so let's begin with a few words about the?base model. The A. Lange & S?hne Langematik Perpetual was the world's first watch with an aut
Hi all,If anybody can provide an ID for this (1960/70s?) Omega it would be much appreciated. My friend inherited it and I'd like to get some info without her having to remove the back. I think it would make a lovely looking watch with a little bit of TLC - 'simple clean lines' Thanks in advance for any info you guys can provide,Rich.
Recently attended a watchshow - 'Journey Through Time'.Came across this beautiful limited edition Nardin. Priced at US$ 160,000++. Do you think it's way too expensive or just the right price?
Ok, here's the question, and related EXCLUSIVELY ON QUARTZ, WHY are the Swiss Made movements better than the Japanese Made Seiko or Citizen???Is this a real thing? or are we just mentalized as beign made in Switzerland makes it better?I have several Swiss Made quartz, from Omega, passing by Tag, ending in Invicta, and they work fine, but are not more accurate as the Seikos or Citizens, and some are so cheapos that I doubt they are better than a SeikoAs example, have two very nice Tissots (PRS516 Retrograde, and PRS200) nice from the outside, but with a cheap G15 movement in two different versionthe movement itself costs $35 to $50 online, and they don't have nothing special in the one that are inside the Tissot, exactly the same plain movement that can be bought onlineand as some know I hate these sealed unserviceable movementsof course that for the cost, it's easier to replace the whole movement...BTW, I had a defective mevement in the PRS516, and Tissot charged $140 for the replaceme
The Nautilus is a watch which I will buy one day. Years ago I tried the Aquanaut, I liked it but it didn't take long before I got tired of it, so I sold it. The Nautilus on the other hand ... The 5711 is nice but nut for me, a bit too simple Than we have the 5712. I like it a lot more than the 5711. The extra complications are welcome. But I'm affraid I would not like the size. It's imo too flat. A Nautilus is still a sportswatch and for me a sportswatch needs to be bigger, thicker and heavier than a dresswatch. That leaves the 5980. A friend of mine has one and I'm wearing it for a few weeks. It has everything I want from a Patek. An extremely well finished case, bracelet, movement (this is ofcourse also a fact for the 5711 and 5712). When I put it on my wrist it just feels great. Much better than any 5711, 5712 and 3712 I ever tried. I don't have a small wrist so the bigger Nautilus is superb for me. The only bad thing I can think about is the price. Compared with other fantastic spo
