IWC 3234-02 wrist watches news:
Pity we don't have a British Watch Forum. Does anyone know of, or have they heard of a line of British watches known as Bravingtons? All my research can dig up is that the name belongs to a chain of jewelers which seems to be slowly disappearing (for whatever reason(s). I'm assuming the movements were made by a small independent Swiss watchmaker and then shipped over to Merrie Olde England where Bravington's then cased the movements to be sold in their stores. But I have no way to confirm this theory. If anyone has more info, it would be appreciated. The case is in rough shape but then, the original owner lived across The Pond.As you can tell, the caseback is not very much help..Thanx for looking.
Having met the guy, seen his work and ideas, I truly believe one day he will be mentioned in history books very much like George Daniels, Laurent Ferrier and other contemporary masters of watchmaking. Enjoy:
I cannot decide which i like more. I know this question is highly subjective, but I thought I would ask and get some TRF opinions. Pic for reference:
Just got the tracking info...in transit!!!Bob
So I have a 1965 14k Yellow Gold plated De Ville automatic that I found 15yrs ago that I thought I lost then. Just found it again. I can¡¯t find much information on these. Is it because they are less desirable or because there are not as many as the SeaMaster? Someone borrowed my cam so I don¡¯t have pics. What is the ballpark price on these? I Just ordered a band and buckle from Omega so I can start wearing this puppy. Any info would be appreciated. On Watch:Adjusted 2 positions 24 jewels 711 (Caliber)On cover :Fd 16102480microns
