The hands move at a 12 hour pace and are read on the bezel. Just got it yesterday, and it proved difficult to photo. I only had time for relatively quick snaps. The reference book shows the bezel appearance much better than my photoYou pull the crown to set the time and press the button @ 2 and it disengages the hands and the 24 hour disk, allowing you to set a proper offset between the 24 hour and 12 hour indicators. Unlike a GMT, you set the "offset" between 12 and 24 hours indications once and just change the hands to local time. Ok, so you all pretty much know about my love affair with this watch, and thats without ever seeing it in person!!! I am BLOWN AWAY by the quality of this watch considering I payed next to nothing for it. I am totally in love. Everything about it.ONE question though While the watch is functioning perfectly and seems to be keeping GREAT time out of the box (timed it with my near COSC hamilton), I was able to set the date, but not the time. I know this is a hacking movement (ETA 2824-2), but even when pulling fairly hard on the crown, I could not get it out to the 3rd postion to stop the second hand to engage time setting mode. The watch is currently at 1130 am, does that mean that I am unable to set the time during this span? I figured thats what It was so Im gonna wait to try again, but seems to me the hack should engage at any point in time.anyway, as Wilf always says, this post is worthless without pics, so here they are, quick and dirty!
