IWC IWC 49018 wrist watches news:
Congrats to Michael A. from Snohomish, Washington who was last month's EHF Horlogere Mk Zero watch giveaway winner.? We hope he enjoys the watch and thanks to everyone who entered. Don't forget to enter this month's incredible holiday giveaway where you can win a trip to Switzerland and build you own timepieces to take back home with you.
I have been bad mouthing the new DD without actually giving it a chance until I bumped into one today at the local AD. Sadly, or maybe happily(if you are my checking account) I still dislike it even more after seeing it in person. To me it just looks all wrong, too large for that style. The best way I can put it is that it looks like an oversized prop that a clown would have. It would be my guess that it won't stick around in the lineup too long and will soon go the way of the Dodo bird. The sales woman also agreed and said they weren't really moving as the original DD or any new release from Rolex. Just my .02
Tried to post this in the Tech. Forum but it would not let me. Anyway, I have this (cheap) tool ordered and on the way. What do you think?YouTube - Adjusting Your Watch Bracelet
Just got my Breitling back from a BUSA full service and wanted to share. It turned out looking like new again. Couldn't be happier with the results.
My 18k RG bumper automatic and 18k YG Rolex bubbleback automatic:Both date from ~1950.I've had the Omega for several years and refer to it as my special occasion watch. The Rolex was acquired a couple of weeks ago out of the estate of this gentleman:C. Thomas ClagettThe Rolex came on a 14k YG mesh as shown here:As you may recall, the Omega also came on a 14k mesh. That bracelet is known as a rainbow mesh as it is comprised of RG, WG, and YG:The Rolex will soon be going off for some polishing and service but I wanted a photo of the two together before that happens.Fr.
