1942 Elgin Catalog
We Elgin collectors have to deal with a frustrating lack of information. ONE catalog, from 1939, available online, versus catalogs for every single year from 1930-1970 for Hamiltons.Last week I saw a 1942 Elgin catalog on Ebay, and I won it! I used a digital camera to take pics, but will scan tomorrow and post better ones. For now, it's on my blog. I still have to figure out how best to post it. Advice welcome!Here's the link to the pictures.

UK - where to trade.
Hi all. I have a Panda on a leather AP strap and I am thinking of trading for a 15400 as my thinking is I will wear more as I can wear with a shirt and cuff. Problem is I cannot find anyone in the uk to trade with. Some offers to buy the watch outright but value is low as they think I am desperate. Any suggestions ?

When was the newest model of the Seamaster Planet Ocean introduced. Model 2201.51.00. I asked a salesperson at the Omega Boutique in LA when I was there on Monday, and the salesperson said just over a year ago. I have my doubts and frankly, the guy reminded me of an unethical used car salesman. You notice I added unethical because I realize that not all used car salesmen are unethical.
