First post so please go easy on me...I have a Speedmaster Solar Impulse( the titanium speedmaster). It came with the black rubber band but I would like to get the titanium bracelet. My *local* Omega dealer told me they were not available. Is there another source for this bracelet?Could I fit a stainless bracelet and would it look ok?*local= 100 miles away
Well, its finally here no thanks to my slow brother. It arrived in fineshape, a little late............OK, it was a lot late but got here just fine.Super nice box and accessories too. Omega outdid themselves and includeda sprinbar tool with extra tips and extra springbars. It included 2 of thespacesuit straps and a standard bracelet. The donut also came.My first impression is that this is a special Speedy. Its a very limitededition that they didn't make millions of, good thing too because theyhung a stout price on it................$5600 retail. What do you think Guys?jimpsspecial thanks the Hewybaby(Sam) on this one. Thanks Buddy!!!Arrival: note the return addy, courtesy of my Brother the Joker.the Watch:Add a "donut"I found something to do with the "donut"A few accessories. With her friends:
I bought a woman's date just for my mother in 03 and have never had it serviced yet. I know that they say to have it serviced every 5 years but the watch keeps great time she has worn it everyday since it was new. And I was wondering if I need to service it or wait till it starts losing time. I hate to spend the money if I don't need to but I don't want to damage the watch either. I tried posting this in the technical thread but it would not let me I guess I am to new here so what should I do. Thanks
Hi guys looking for your thoughts on this seamaster I picked up a few years back in fantastic condition with original box & papers dated 1966 just not getting any wrist time probably as I've got use to the larger watch sizes. Anyway decided to give some time out of the safe today such a classic looker though
