Need help finding a crystal for an Elgin Bumper
I won this the other day and was excited to get it. When it arrived, no crystal! Re-read the sale and I missed it in the description I didn't pay all that much for it, so I'm not worried.The dial isn't pristine, but in pretty good shape. The second hand was broken off, so I took a red arrow second hand from a parts watch and put it on. Obviously Elgin used different sized holes and this one slipped when I tilted the watch. I filled it with some clear cement, let it dry and then fit it on the post and it works like a charm.The case, while not perfect, is more than passable topside. So I need a crystal. I went to Dashto and they have nothing.The case number is 6801 for this model. So, any other sites besides Dashto where I can get a crystal?BTW, I tried crystals from several parts watches I have and they either were too large or too small.Oh, and one last thing. I actually like the feel of the rotor bumping into the springs!

Loving my new Breitling Superocean Steelfish.
I have been on the search for a Breitling Steelfish for a couple of weeks, my regular AD was out on the dial I wanted but another store had it on a strap, my Ad asked me to hold out on the other guy and give him a couple of days, as usual he comes through. found me a Steelfish on bracelet for less than what the other guy was charging for it on leather I wanted an everyday brushed watch that was on the simpler side IE no chrono and with a white or black dial. My choices were between the Omega Seamaster and the Breitling Steelfish for around 1900USD (my limit). Decided to go with the Breitling simply because I like the design better and I did have and sell a Seamaster before.Now that it is on my wrist I dont know why I even considered the Omega. The Breitling blows it away completely!!! Here is what i really love about it:1- Best damn sapphire crystal I have ever seen. All Breitlings have amazingly good crystals, feels like I can reach in and play with the hands.2- The case is beau

Which to choose: 5970j or 5070p
I can afford only one watch after getting rid of my 5960r and 5980r. For my offer, 5970j is only 14k more expensive than 5070p. Both watches are in like new condition. I read a lot on the internet regarding these 2 models. 5970j, being the rarest as many mentioned, doesn't indeed reflect the price any higher than g, r or p. And the main reason I love about 5970 is its grand complication plus a huge disappointment on 5270.5070p price is almost doubled to its predecessors j, g and r. Still a legendary model.Both watches can be easily obtained in the grey market, at least for now. They are not that rare imo. In terms of beauty, I must admit that I love them both equally. However, if you can only get to choose one, which would be your final choice and why. I still have 5712r left. Thx in advance for the comments.

I’m very excited.
