Invicta 21537 wrist watches news:
When a watch clicks for you, the details of it don't really matter. It could be an inexpensive quartz watch or an epically expensive grand-complication. It could be plastic or it could be platinum. You just know when you strap it on your wrist, that it's right for you. Ideally, it's something you can afford, so you don't have to stay awake at night dreaming about a 100k watch you'll likely never own. More often than not, it's something in between; not outrageously priced, but just out of reach. Well, recently I had such an experience with a watch that is quite affordable, quartz and plastic. That watch is the Marathon Military Navigator Quartz Date.Marathon watches were born of a collaboration between a Canadian watch distributor, the Wein Brothers, and one of the oldest Swiss watch brands, Gallet, whose origins date back to the late 1400's. In the mid 80's the Wein Brothers contracted Gallet to create tough-as-nails watches for distribution to the US and Canadian Armed Forces, thus st
I get a lot of joy out of writing about new releases, but only those that I think are really well done. Frankly, it’s not often I can say that a brand new watch is offering you ( / me / us) a whole lot, but today, with this new Jaeger-LeCoultre, I can it say it and mean it. You’re looking at the new JLC Geophysic 1958 family. This 38.5mm watch will be available in stainless steel, rose gold, and platinum (all in limited numbers), features a heaping dose of vintage inspiration, and offers a lot of technology we want in a cutting edge piece of modern horology. Allow me to go into great detail on this one, because I think it’s worth it. The History of the (Original) JLC Geophysic 2 OF 42 Originally created back in 1958, the Geophysic celebrated two distinct events. The first was the 125th anniversary of the manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre and the second was the world’s first "International Geophysical Year." This was an effort put forth
I've started updating my watch shots. I started this evening with my Invicta Aussie and this:Still having a bit of a hard time with reflections on the crystal. One of these days, I'll actually read that book of John's that I bought and, maybe, that'll help some. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the way these turned out...
Could this possibly be a Pallweber I?DSCN9403 (800x600).jpgDSCN9420 (800x600).jpgDSCN9411 (800x600).jpgDSCN9415 (800x452).jpgDSCN9428 (800x607).jpg
Hi guys,I happened to drop by the AP Boutique on Orchard road and had a chance to try out the new Offshore all ceramic as well as the 41mm ROC RG (both white & black dials)... I have never considered an ROC before as I have always limited my interest in AP to the ROOC models having owned an AP Panda as well as a 44mm FC earlier...The reason I let go my FC initially was my desire to get the all ceramic but now having tried on the ROC RG with the black face I am in a dilemma. Bothe watches have a sticker price which is nearly the same ie. 50K SGD... Which would you guys choose... Discounts on the ROC RG are quite good whereas the ceramic I'm sure will not be available at a good discount until a few more months...Appreciate your feedback :-)
