A. Lange & Sohne 101.039 wrist watches news:
Now I don't know about most of you guys (or "youse guys" for people from Jersey) but I don't see many Omegas when I'm out and about (ie not under house arrest). Recently, my wife and I have been "vacationing" at hospitals. Now I saw some Doc sportin' a Connie at Johns Hopkins and another Connie wearing physician at a local hospital last week. Added to my CPA and the guy who "manages" my investments ("don't pull out, don't pull out. Trust me." . sob, sob)that makes Connies the most common Omega model I have seen. I'm talking modern Constellations here, not Pie Pans. While I realize that very few people on the forums care for them(when I got mine last year I only got a few positive comments) it seems that maybe the general public is buying bunches of them. So, my question is, does anybody else see these things wrapped around somebodys wrists? Don
hi guys just got my 371701 and im quite surprised how thick it is:001 it it really is beautiful_tongue: anyway as i was reading through the manual in adjusting the perpetual calenday. it says that adjusting the calendar must not be performed between 20.00 and 2.00? 2 must be for 2 o clock, however 20.00 stands for what number?
Just got this one back from the watch doctor today:Not sure what model it is but I like the engraved sides and the "coin edge" detail around the bezel:Movement dates to 1930. Elgin database says its a 7 Jewel model 485, size 4/0.And the case was made by the Illinois case company for Elgin:Anyone know what model name or number this one is? thanksMark S.

I noticed in the 2016 Patek catalogue, the dial of the 5227j and r is listed as lacquered ivory, and the pic of the 5227r shows a very white looking dial. However, all of the 5227j/r's I've seen have a dial that looks quite off-white, even yellowish. Does anybody know if the dial color has changed from before 2016 (more off white) to after (more white)?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
