This is my Breitling Premier . My dad got this after the war in Germany. I believe it is a 1946 model. I had it restored back in 2001 by Mark Heist. I like older Breitlings, they are not so big and bulky like their newer models. GEDC0316 (2).jpg

Looking for a color scheme
What watches can you recommend that have a dark face with orange accents? I've been looking at the Hamilton Air Race and love the color combination, but would like to find something a little less expensive.I may break down and pick one up, I just have to figure out how to justify spending that much on a watch that will only get worn once or twice a week.

5227 as only watch?
Hey guys. I’m looking for a new watch, and first Patek. Currently have a Rolex. But iv’e really fallen in love with the 5227. Could this watch hold up for being a daily “beater”/only watch? I know I will need a new strap now and then. But is the movement delicate? And how often will it need service? I will wear it everyday and have it ingraved for my 2 year old son. :) (hold it for the next generation )Thanks guys!
