Hi all. Newbie here with a typical newbie question. Could someone tell me what I need to look for, and what I should be paying, for a vintage Longines Power Reserve watch please? For the first time in my life I have got a few quid to spend, courtesy of my mum, on a decent watch and have come to the conclusion that this is the one I need. There is one for sale on ebay at the moment here:eBay - The UK's Online MarketplaceIs this a good example? With so few around its hard to find something to compare it against.I don't need to tell you that I know nothing about vintage watches. Help? Mid-1960s bracelet ID, Part 1
Following are two screen captures from the 1965 James Bond film, Thunderball. Altho the (modified) watch itself appears to be a Breitling Top Time from this period, I realize that doesn't necessarily mean the bracelet it OEM Breitling. Hence, I'm Posting this to the General Forum.Any ideas on what this bracelet might be?If it is Breitling, it looks to me like a "Pilot" (more likely) or "Navitimer" bracelet. Since this is not the only Breitling featured in Thunderball, it seems reasonable to guess that the producers may have had a more extensive relationship w/ Breitling and hencs been supplied w/ various bracelets, et cetera.Opinions and references would be appreciated. Thanks!

Date change issue
Hi All,So I've had 2 months of trouble free time telling on my DJII. Have been wearing my Submariner the last few days but decided I'd wear my DJII today. So I wound it up and pulled one extra notch to change the date however it got stuck!!! Okay so I then pulled it out another notch to turn the time forward, spun around +48 hours, no luck. Was on the phone to Watchfinder they said to bring it in, as I was talking to the lady it clicked into date.It appears to be keeping okay time, however not the date changes at 11:45, it's always changed at 12:00 on the nose.Now my question, is it a major issue.CheersSK
