- I purchased this watch for my husband for our anniversary and he is very happy with it so far. The face is easy to read, the leather strap appears durable, although he's only had it for a couple of weeks. I think we would buy this brand again.

LV Sub getting a lot of wrist time
Although I love my 1967 sub the LV has been calling me for six years. I felt I did a good job cutting the lawn a few weeks ago and felt I should treat myself for a job well done. The wife feels it might be a bit much just for cutting the lawn but her flowers also look nice. Photos to follow once the yard work is done. Patrick

Can I please get an ID on this Kreisler band. Was it factory fitted to a specific model, or just a generic item. It came on something inappropriate and I'd like to match it better to a watch, 17mm lugs btw.ThanksK.

That was my dad's favorite saying when he lucked into something good.And that was my feeling when I captured this photo of my 2255.80:This morning, I was taking some lume shots of the PloProf. The bezel lume is fascinating to me and I started with this full dark photo:Then I allowed some light to capture some more watch detail:While examining this photo, I happened to click onOne Step Photo Fix and the lume really popped out of the watch:I'm admittedly not a great photographer like so many of you, especially my friend Bill (gaopa), but this one really spoke to me, another acorn if you will.How about sharing your acorns.Fr. I'd been hunting for a new watch for a few months now and it was starting to get more and more complicated, I had my mind set, then I saw something else that appealed, and on it went! I walked up and down Collins St seeking out the right watch, at the right price.Rolex, no budge on price and wait for stock to arrive! I decided that was not good enough so I moved on, Omega, pretty much the same with the excuse that it lessens the name, well, it pays your wages too if I buy one...but the Seamaster GMT felt cheap and certainly not worthy of the $9400 price tag.Today, I thought bugger this, I need to get the watch and be done with it..I waltzed in to The Hour Glass and the lovely young NZ girl served me straight away.She asked what I was looking for and I told her straight out...she asked which model I was interested in and I told her this is the one!
