- This watch is a great purchase. The dial is very clear. I had to adjust the strap as it was too long.

Invicta 4900 wrist watches news:
I am typically not one for celebrity gossip. As far as I am concerned, celebrities, for the most part, are just like you and me, but less intelligent, with more money, and with lots more free time on their hands. But when you combine watches and celebrities I get a bit interested, if not for sheer voyeuristic intentions. Here is a little enjoyable blog about celebrities and their Rolex watches. Some shots are glamorous, some are less than so. The bottom line is that these celebrities never seem to take their Rolex watches off. Don't be impressed however when a celebrity chooses to wear a Rolex. They sure are nice watches, but they are basically the default "nice watch." Sort of like "new money's first luxury watch." Never a bad choice, but not the only choice. Nevertheless, no true watch collection is complete without at least a handful of Rolex watches. Rolex sort of has you cornered like that, and celebrities too for that matter. What are some of the more interesting shots/stories at t
I was trying to identify a Seiko Chronograph which has the face devoted to the normal time upside-down with respect to the chronograph and I think one of the references in the subject should be the right one but I don't know which one. Also could any Seiko expert tell me more about it. Is it a special series? Japan only market? Auto, quartz or spring-drive? I saw a picture and I find the design great but I seem to be unable to find more informations on the watch, where can be bought, price etc. Thanks,GLF
Hi Folks!I just got an SBDB001 in a trade today and thought I would post a couple of pics for you. I'm not actually keeping the watch as I already have the MM300, so it's been traded again already :D but I know pics are always useful when you're researching your next purchase so here ya go:
Here's a listing for a very nice vintage Longines that's the first of it's kind I've seen:1951 VINTAGE LONGINES Mens Watch - SOLID 14K GOLD - eBay (item 280638109923 end time Mar-09-11 16:45:36 PST)No, not the case - they're as common as squirrels in the park and was used by dozens of brands. The movement and dial are typical of late 40's and early 50's styling too. I mean the listing: the seller didn't use the word "RARE" once!!!
so yeah, my first Breitling is finally here.fancied one of these a couple of years ago in black/black combo because of its clean/simple dial, and thought the 46 was too big and the 38 was too small.anyway, bumped into this BNIB SOH46 Bronze the other week from an AD and the price was too good too miss, so pulled the trigger.... just as well it came on the Ocean Classic bracelet.i think the Bronze bezel/dial combo will be able to balance my current sports watch collection... it'd add more colour to it IMO pix - everyone likes pix, so here they are it came with a bezel protector - Oscar will be proud of me late night indoor wrist shotoutdoor cloudy day wrist shoti have to say - the Ocean Classic Mesh bracelet is very comfortable. it certainly adds abit of weight to the watch, but it is quite wearable overall. Orange is my 2nd fave colour - i am very happy with this purchase and i look forward to spending more time with it
