Invicta 18693 wrist watches news:
I recently acquired this unusual variation of the Hamilton Meadowbrook, produced for the 37th Triennial Conclave of the Knights Templar in Detroit, Michigan in 1928.According to the Hamilton records, only 33 of the watches were produced, all in 14K white gold and all with 17-jewel grade 987 movements. These special order Masonic presentation watches were acquired from Hamilton through J.H. Garlick, a jeweler in Detroit. All of the printing on the dial is done in black enamel, which has been fired into the sterling silver surface of the dial. Even the red cross in the Knights Templar logo is enamel. This watch also has some features not seen on later examples of the Meadowbrook, namely a flared and wider center case body and recessed crown.
Dear all, Since a while I am trying to find a Seiko with real "arabic" numbers. Is there anyone here who can help me on this? I have already contacted Seiko Japan, however, without success Thank you and best regards! (Source:seiko 5 with "arabic/persian" numbers)
Hi All,I am looking for either a leather, or silicon strap for this watch. It has a 20mm lug width, and I am looking for a two piece strap such that the caseback can be viewed. I have used Martac two-piece as well as others, but ideally, I am looking for a strap (Hirsch?) whereby the strap fits flush on the lugs and watch case, similar to a solid end link would on a stainless bracelet.Any suggestions on brand, type, vendor welcomed-Sheldon
Just like last year, it's time to enter Mr. H's 2012 Audemars Piguet Photo Contest. You are allowed to post ONLY ONE photo entry in this thread. All entries should be submitted by December 16, 2012. I will ask two of our moderators to help me select three winners and I will send those winners some watch related stuff as a small token of appreciation for your camaraderie and photo journalism efforts. The winners will be selected based on the photo composition, angle, lighting, quality of image and ultimately the ability to capture the essence of the Audemars Piguet timepieces.RulesNo wrist shots are allowed. Trusted sellers cannot enter as their photo skills are beyond ours.No nudes or racy shots. You need to be the actual photographer and should have the rights to the picture.Be creative.Be bold.To kick-off the contest, here's my photo entry!
Picked-up the RG Unitimer this afternoon, to add to my Breitling collection..... I'm really liking this watch, though it is a little large at 46mm, it wears nicely.
