- The watch looked good online, but when I received it, the diamonds are tiny and the face is pearlized. I did not care for the watch and returned it.

Well, I've been looking around for a Hamilton forum for some time nowwhat a pleasure to find something, particularly in its formative stages. Thanks for setting this up! Here are some pictures of my growing collection:As you can tell, I'm a chronograph fan. These are all 42mm versionsI absolutely love the detail and craftsmanship that Hamilton puts into their watchescomparatively speaking, there's nothing out there that compares value-wise, in my opinion. They also seem to capture a very classic and elegant sense of proportion and scale that is missing in a lot of other watches, irrespective of price. The black-faced Khaki chrono (top) was just recently modified to include a red-tipped sweep hand...looks fantastic, very subtle. My next addition to the collection will hopefully be a titanium Frogman chronograph, black dial and white subdials (love that watch, very unique). Good to meet everyone, looking forward to some substantive posts!
I am a new member to this forum. I've picked up some great tips and advice from lurking on here over the past few weeks and I hope you all don't mind but I'd like to ask a few questions.I've wanted to own a PP for about 15 years now, but as with most luxuries in life, cost has been a factor to consider. I now find myself in a position to be able to spend a little on acquiring what I consider to be a nice timepiece, but being a novice in this area I'm a little unsure about what I am doing. This PP I am interested in is being offered for sale by an independent jeweller I use (not an AD). I mostly purchase items for my wife from them and I do trust their advice. It is a Pre-Owned Gondolo (3648J) mechanical movement, Sapphire Crystal case, screw down crown, roman numerals with an alligator strap. (I haven't work out how to upload a picture of it yet). Now before I get into an in-depth conversation with the retailer I'd like to know if;a) there is anything you guys can tell me about this typ
I was milling around the mall yesterday waiting for my wife,I strolled into a jewelry store to check out the cases. As I was looking at the Tags, I was greeted by a... what kindawatch you got on there !!! It was my new Planet Ocean 45 mmwith orange bezel on black rubber w/ orange stitch band. Then he said you know Omega, Breitling, and Tag are al thesame, take the case off and they are identical, only differenceis the price. The movements are all the same !!I am new, still learning, this didn't sit right with me, all thesame ???? I will check it out on TRF!I told him have a nice day,and promptly left.HELP!!!! was he right ??????I didn't think so. (sorry, long story)Educate me !!!!!THANKS
Anyone finding the 116710LN to be hard to find...or is it just the BLNR that's elusive?
