- This is the best watch ever. I never take it off - wear it swimming, in the shower, etc.It has lasted for over three years and I just got a crack in the face so I need to get a new one. But I will be buying another Relic Wet.

Invicta 15566 wrist watches news:
?? ? Sponsored postRichard Paige, of Rpaige Watch Co., and Mark Carson have teamed up to create the wildly art deco Rpaige "Crash of '29" watch which is being funded on Kickstarter. Mark designed the case, dial, and hands, and the watches will feature the restored vintage or antique American pocket watch movements which Richard uses in his Rpaige watches. The Genesis Of The Project:Richard Paige: After the successful introduction of my Duo-Face reversible watch, where Mark designed the case for me, I challenged him to come up with something unexpected. I really wanted to be surprised.Mark Carson: I know that Richard is a huge art deco fan and that his Wrocket line of wrist watches have art deco detailing. I¡¯d done the design for an art deco watch a couple of years back but it was dimensioned around a smaller movement.RP: I knew that whatever Mark came up with, it had to use the vintage American pocket watch movements that I lovingly restore and craft into my Rpaige watches.Rpaige Crash
I was waiting for someone to do this. It was only a matter of time before the watch world was able to release a budget version of the Corum Bridge watch. Storm UK was the one that did it. Of course this is not a replica or the same watch, but the concept is the same. A mechanical watch with a thin bridge-style movement in an otherwise empty and see-through dial. It certainly looks cool on the wrist.Let's be honest, you can't precisely compare a Corum with this Storm Mekon. While they exist in the same thematic family, this Storm will never replace a Corum in terms of pure horology. Where the Mekon does win is digest-ability. For just a few hundred bucks you can have the look and feel of something that would otherwise cost many thousands. Most people can handle that.I don't necessarily get the name "Mekon." Is it pronounced "mech-on," or perhaps "meek-on." I want to say the latter because of the word "Yukon." Whatever, the pieces speak for themselves. Storm rustled up a mechanical movem
Hello everyone. Seems the bus broke down in front of this place and I smelled something good cooking so I got off. I'm a 20 year old student from Massachusetts and I am happy to join WTF after 6 years at WUS. I have a small collection which includes Omega, Tissot, Seiko, Corum, IWC, Tudor, and Invicta. I enjoy collecting watches, and conversing with others who share the same hobby. I also like music, spending time with friends, movies, politics, and a bunch of other unmentionables. I am eager to meet more of you, and to continue some old friendships as well. Thanks!

Good Evening!I am new to TRF and have just started collecting over the past year. I was fortunate enough to receive 2 vintage Omega pieces from my grandfather. When I was given the watch the leather band it was on was not the original and was fairly destroyed. My family had basically forgotten about the pieces. The plexi (i believe its plexi) was all destroyed. I took it to a guy local to me and he polished it up, cleaned it all up internally and it is now almost flawless. I have the reference number written down at my office so I will have to post that tomorrow however i was just wondering if anybody had any information they could provide me with about the piece by looking at the photo. I believe it is from 1974. Any estimated value as I am curious.Thank you all in advance.SK
