Invicta 10558 wrist watches news:
I just bought my first Citizen...will I like it? Are their quartz movements good quality? Are there any precautions I should be aware of (crystals scratching easily, soft steel, etc.)? It has a 5 year warranty so I was pretty confident with the purchase.
According to the Complete Guide to Watches by Cooksey Shugart this watch is a 1939 diamond dial with a platinum case. I can not find any other information other then a picture from the book and the date. I have never seen another of it's kind. This watch went to Germany in WWII with my father and hasn't run since. I am having it restored now. Does anyone know any other information about my watch? The watchThe Pix
Hello to you all,Could I ask for some advice please?I am very new to the AP watch world and am not as yet an owner.A few questions follow that I am having difficulty in obtaining answers. I have written to AD's / Boutiques but no repsonse (seems to be the norm from what i have read?)The models in question.Royal OakRef # 15400ST. 00. 120ST.03 Stainless steel, Blue dial, 41mm.Ref # 15202ST. 00. 1240ST.01 'Jumbo' or extra thinStainless steel, Blue dial, 39mm.What would be the approx. wait / order time? Is it the same principle as say Rolex, i.e. named AD, serial number etc? With the Royal Oak I notice a serial number on the case which starts with a letter - often i see another number ...others i don't? What would be the other number? Simple questions I'm sure for many - unfortunately my work location is not in viable distance for a AD visit.I would be very g

Hi!,I have an old omega geneve which was given to me by my dad about three years back. I had it serviced in the omega center and they did a beautiful job, making the watch run at about +1/day. After a year or so of seldom wear, water got in when I was in the rain. The case back apparently had a crack which was thought to be previously harmless. I took back the watch and had the service center replace the whole case, crystal and case back as the buying the case back was possible. I assume they didn't re-service the watch and just transplanted the movement on the new case. I wore the watch sparingly and didn't time it until now. Now, I just noticed that it is +25/day. It has been pretty consistent the past few days, +15 overnight and +10 while being worn. My problem is that I am overseas and will probably be here for the next half year or so. No omega service centers here and I don't speak the local language so I don't really want to bring it to a local repair shop here. Will
