Perrelet Turbine Skeleton Watch
For 2015, the Perrelet Turbine Skeleton marks a return to some of the original reasons why the Turbine collection was so cool for a while. What you essentially have is a smaller version of the Turbine XL case (more on that below) with the entire rear part of the watch face missing. That means the dial "turbine" rotor spins around with a view of the naked mechanical movement inside of the watch behind it. Please help me identify my grandfather's watch!
Hello all!I'm a young lady in California trying to find out more about my grandfather's watch. He's gone now, but I knew him well, and have a momento. He won this watch in a contest while an employee of the Oakland Tribune in 1940 (there's an inscription). It is a Hamilton watch, mechanic, with a little diamond (probably after market?) to the upper left. The strap is replaced, I'm assuming, and the dial looks quite nearly like the "Endicott" from my preliminary web research. The difference is that in all the photos I find of the Endicott, the "Hamilton" print on the dial is located much higher (and closer) to a placement between the 11 and the 1 than on my grandfather's watch. I wonder if that is an indicator that it is an earlier production? Different Versions of Same Reference?
I posted about my vintage watch earlier today and that spurred me to do some research. Turns out its a ref 165.002. Looking online though, there seem to be several very different versions of this watch; including face and hands. Is this normal?Thanks a bunch, still learning.:)

Opinions on the 537 or 535
I was at the AD this weekend and the 537 really caught my eye. It's a bit smaller (42mm) but being a Luminor it felt perfect size-wise since I usually wear a Radiomir. I looked online though the various forums and sites and didn't see much of a following behind this model or that many listed for sale. I have a line on a decent price for a used one and right now I'm deciding between this or an OMEGA DSOTM. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on the 537?
