Bell & Ross BR03-92 Authentic vs Fake Photos
I'm in the market for a new Bell & Ross BR03-92 and I now there are several fakes out there claiming to be authentic. A little research hashelped me hone in on some subtle differences that are notable and worth sharing with this community. It is my understanding that the DO NOT REMOVE SCREW the back should be located under the "U" I've included two photos of each instance where the location of the screw is under the U and two that are closer to the outside edge that I believe are fakes. The photo with the hands holding the watch are directly from Bell and Ross's website under the Boutique link. The rest are from a well known auction site that I took screen shots of. Question regarding water in a watch
Hello everyone at TRF. I wanted to pose a hypothetical question to you. If your watch got water in it, but was sent to a Rolex Service Center for a full service, would you have any concerns about the long term effects on the watch?Obviously Rolex will do a great job removing the water and cleaning the parts. But could there be any negative residual impact in the watch in the future? Or once Rolex repairs it would that be essentially the equivalent of water never having been in there in the first place?Anyway, I hope this question makes sense. Advice for picking an "engagement watch"
First off, I just want to say thank you to this forum. I just found it a few days ago, and I have read many threads and feel like I've learned a lot! I would like to buy my boyfriend a watch as an engagement gift. He is new to luxury watches, as am I, though I would love a rose gold Lady DJ. We've looked at some online as well as in a store, and tried some on. The ones we liked the most were:Blue sky dwellerBlue date just 41, diamond indices, jubilee bandTwo-tone Daytona with a white face.He really liked the date just, but I'm afraid the diamonds might make it too dressy for everyday wear. He travels for work, so he would use the 2nd time zone on the sky dweller on most days. The Daytona he liked because he likes things to mess with, and it had lots of action to indulge his ADD. I want to make sure I get him something he can wear on most days, knowing it's more likely to be an heirloom than something resold as an investment. Any men here wear diamonds daily?
